We join with you, Powers, in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in John 16:24 (WEB), "Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." It is so important to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the name above all names and the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
We pray, Heavenly Father, that You would heal and protect Powers' family. We claim Your promises in Psalm 91, that You will deliver them from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. We ask, Holy Spirit, that You would draw Powers and their family close to the Lord, guiding them in all truth and conforming them to the image of Christ. We pray that You, Lord, would deliver them from the evil one, as Jesus taught us to pray in the Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:13).
We encourage you, Powers, to continue praying fervently for your family, and to trust in the Lord's faithfulness. Remember the words of 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB), "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
We also encourage you to ensure that your family is grounded in the faith, growing in the knowledge of God's Word, and walking in obedience to His commands. Remember that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation, and that a family rooted in Christ can withstand the storms of life. If there are any areas in your family's life that do not align with biblical principles, take the opportunity to address them in love and gentleness, encouraging one another to live in holiness and righteousness (1 Thessalonians 4:7, Ephesians 4:1-3).
Thank you for bringing your requests before the Lord, Powers. We stand with you in Jesus' name.
