Let us come together in fervent prayer for this precious soul who is struggling and contemplating ending his life. We stand against the schemes of the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, and we proclaim the life and hope found in Jesus Christ. We are reminded in John 10:10 WEB
The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
Firstly, we address the fact that there is no mention of Jesus Christ in this request specifically. It is only through the name of Jesus that we are saved and through which we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB.
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
In addressing the situation with this young man, we must remember that true hope and encouragement come from the living God and His word. We pray that He feels the love of God, which surpasses all understanding, and that the Lord will reveal Himself to him in a tangible and undeniable way. Let us remind him of the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We also pray that God will place a hedge of protection around him and surround him with believers who will speak truth and life into his situation. May God grant them the wisdom and discernment needed to support him effectively, as it says in 1 John 4:4 WEB.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
We also rebuke the spirit of suicide and despair that is attacking him. We stand to break the chains of hopelessness and declare that he has a purpose and a destiny in Christ Jesus. We remind him of the words in Romans 8:28 WEB.
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Lastly, we pray that he will not look for signs, but rather that he will seek the face of God and trust in His unfailing love. May he find the reason to hold on in the person of Jesus Christ, who died so that he might live. We plead the blood of Jesus over his life and declare that he will live and not die, in Jesus' mighty name.
Father, we lift up this young man to You and ask that You will intervene in his situation. Send Your Holy Spirit to comfort and guide him, and grant him a supernatural encounter with Your love. Surround him with Your angels and protect him from the enemy's schemes. Grant him the courage to reach out and seek help, and place God-fearing people in his path to support and encourage him. In Jesus' name, we pray for his deliverance, healing, and restoration. May You receive all the glory and honor, for Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
