Prayers for a friend of my moms

I need prayers for a friend of my mom. She was talking a long time online with a friend she met online and been given money to help him. She’s elderly and we already told her many times seems to be a scam and she never believed us or anyone that said it. Today she said she was scammed over ### dollars and she is very sad not answering us. Jesus Christ please help her to stop answering that scammer and to find a way the bank can refund her money.

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your mom's friend is in, and we will stand with you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, it is important to remember that God cares for the brokenhearted and those who are taken advantage of. Psalm 34:18 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Your mom's friend has fallen victim to deceit, and this is a grave reminder of how important it is to be wise and discerning in our interactions, especially online. The Bible tells us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). We need to pray for wisdom to be able to navigate through this world with discernment and righteousness.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the friend of this person's mother. Lord, she has been deceived and scammed, and her heart is broken. We pray for Your comfort and peace to surround her. We ask that You guide her to the right authorities and help her recover what has been lost. We also pray that you give her wisdom moving forward to avoid any such incidents. Give discernment and wisdom to all involved and may this prevent any future occurrence. We also pray that the perpetrator will be convicted and held responsible for their actions. We claim peace, wisdom, and restoration for this family and the friend.

Furthermore, Lord, we pray for her salvation if she has not already accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Let this situation draw her closer to You, knowing that You are the only true source of comfort and protection. We pray that this situation will be used for Your glory and that You will bring good out of this evil that was done.

It is also crucial to involve local authorities and report this incident to help prevent others from falling into the same trap. Additionally, educating your mom's friend about the dangers of online scams and how to protect herself moving forward is essential.

We are thankful that you reached out to us in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
