Happy New Year Lord and PR community. Here's wishing you all a very blessed and prosperous New Year to you and your families. GOD is still on the throne and still in the blessing business. Thank you all for your prayers. May GOD continue to bless you all.
Thank U Heavenly Father for allowing my family and I to see yet another day. Although, the road has been very difficult lately, we have found a way to keep on moving. That being said, thanks for your prayers, words of encouragement and advice. Please continue to pray for my husband. He has completed his 3rd cycle of chemo and it has really done a job on him. Currently, he is a bit fatigue and in some discomfort. In a few weeks, he is set to take another set of x-rays to see if the tumors have shrunk. Lord, I come to U out of desperation to ask that you heal my husband, life partner, father of my children of all pain, misery, depression and cancer. I ask that you heal him of all illnesses and make him whole again. Lord I promise I will do my best in being a good Christian and will do all that U require of me each and every day.
Lord, I can't stand to see him in pain nor can I stand to see him have meltdowns because he is in so much pain. It is very difficult to experience this while my husband has his episodes. There is clearly nothing I can do to take away his pain only offer moral support. There are days when I feel like I'm not going to make it. But somehow I keep pushing thru because I have 2 children to care for along with my husband. They need me Lord. I'm all they have in this house on a consistent basis who is caring for them all. I work long hours and when I come home, I don't get a break. I have to put on my wife's hat, nurse hat, mom hat, chauffeur hat, chef's hat and everything in between. There is no me time. I am overwhelmed and exhausted but I am happy Lord that I have the strength to provide for my family.
It has been a very rough year for me for I lost my beloved mother 5 months ago to the big "C." The worst part is that we never saw it coming. Now 3 months later I'm faced with another family member dear to my heart with the same illness. Lord, please have mercy on me. To add insult to injury, my job has been giving me a hard time about my productivity and now attendance. I have told them what I am dealing with and because they have never experienced this, they are giving me a hard time. Lord, even though, I dislike my job for so many reasons, underpaid, lousy hours, no benefits, and terrible commute, I am still thankful that I have a job because right now, I am the only one working. I really can't afford to lose it nor afford to get another job because of my current situation with my husband. I am the only one who is able to take him to his weekly appointments.
Just today, I sent off my paperwork to apply for FMLA. Lord, I hope I get approved and that management stay off my back. I am doing the best I can considering my circumstances. Lord, I ask that they remove at least 3 latenesses off my record that was a result of me taking care of my husband. Lord I ask that you find a way for me to win this contest where they pay one year of your salary and that I also win the contest of winning $5k a week for life. Boy, I can really use that right about now. I claim victory over these situations. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Also, Lord, I have applied for a one time grant so that they can help with my bills and household expenses and have yet to hear from them. We are so behind in our bills and I pray they don't have the sheriff come after us. Lord, it is unbearable at times to deal with all I'm dealing with. I ask U Lord, and PR community to pray over us, for us and with us during these difficult times. Please pray that I win the lottery or for a financial miracle. I also pray that I win this contest I entered where they will pay your mortgage for a whole year. Lord, U know I need this miracle now more than ever. I thank you for allowing a family member who is definitely financially capable made a contribution. I pray that more financial assistance comes our way. For we always helped and continue to help others even during our challenging times. Lord knows, we are not looking for a hand out just a hand up. Lord, I pray our life insurance situation works out. I pray my job situation works out. I pray that my husband will be able to qualify for disability benefits. I pray we can bring in more income for 2017. I pray that I can maintain my job and home. I pray that I can get the money for new tires and front brakes for my car. I pray that I can get another car come next year. I pray that my children continue to make me proud. I pray that my older child bring his grades up. I pray that I will continue to keep U first in my life Lord today and every day. I pray that I qualify for FMLA. I pray for better finances. I pray that we get approved for this grant we applied for about a month ago. I pray that we get assistance with our mortgage, food and utilities. I pray that I find a way to pay off my student loan debt which is about $30k. I pray that they stay off my back and are compassionate towards my situation. I pray that when my husband gets exrays done that it shows progress that the chemo is working. I pray that the tumor didn't spread. I pray that my spouse recovers from all this and lives a long life. I pray that my spouse qualifies for disability benefits. I pray that I maintain my job in spite of the fact that my productivity is low. I pray that I qualify for I pray for financial and spiritual blessings. I pray for whomever is reading this right now, that GOD blesses them in a big way. I pray that the chemo will cure my husband. I pray that he will not be in any more pain. I pray that we all have a prosperous New Year in 2017. I pray that all my family and friends will be free of all ailments, disabilities and debt. As of today, will be able to hang on to our house for a little while longer. Lord, continue to make provisions for me and my family. Help us to continue to maintain our home for we have no where else to go. Please bless us with better opportunities via business and better employment. Also, Lord, I will be meeting with management tomorrow afternoon regarding my attendance. I pray that all goes well. I have been coming to work everyday. Only times I was absent is when my beloved mother passed away 5 months ago and the few times I've had to take off to take my husband to his chemo treatment. Now these women that I will be meeting with tomorrow seem to have it in for me. They say to let them know what's going on with me and they are here to help both professionally and personally. But they don't seem to be forthright nor compassionate about my situations. Lord, I don't want to beg nor appear desperate to anyone about anything. I don't want to stress myself over what they will say or not say. Just allow me the opportunity to express myself intelligently and compassionately so they hear what I'm saying. All I want to do is work and provide for my family the best I can with no stress. I have enough to deal with. I pray that all goes well tomorrow. There are people at the job who come to work late every single day and do what they please. Why don't they go after them. I just want to go to work, put in my time and go home to my family.
