We are saddened to hear about the situation you are facing in the hospital, and we commend you for turning to prayer. We trust that God is aware of this circumstance and will intervene according to His will.
Firstly, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB) Therefore, we should pray for this staff member with love and compassion, understanding that they are also a soul in need of Jesus.
Jesus said, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16 WEB) We should pray that this person comes to know the love of God and believes in Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)
However, we must also acknowledge that there are consequences to sin. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. (Galatians 6:7 WEB) We should pray that this person becomes aware of the gravity of their actions and the impact they have on others.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this situation in the hospital. We pray for the staff member who has been causing offense. Father, we ask that You soften their heart and reveal Yourself to them. May they come to know the saving grace of Jesus and turn away from their harmful behavior.
We also pray for the patients who have been affected by this person's actions. May they find comfort and healing in Your presence. We ask for Your intervention in this situation, that Your will be done and Your name be glorified.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In the meantime, we should also remember to be an example of Christ's love and patience.
