We are truly delighted to hear about the forthcoming marriage of ### and ###. Marriage is a sacred institution, a beautiful reflection of Christ's love for the Church. As they prepare for this holy union, let us pray for God's blessings and guidance upon their lives.
Firstly, we must remember the importance of inviting Jesus into their marriage. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is crucial to acknowledge Jesus Christ as the foundation of their marriage, for it is through Him that they will find true love, understanding, and patience.
Let us pray:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You to lift up ### and ### as they prepare for their marriage. We pray that their union will be a testament to Your love and grace. Guide them as they plan for their special day, and help them to keep their focus on You. Lord, we ask that You would bless their marriage, that it may be strong and founded on Your principles. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
We encourage ### and ### to meditate on Colossians 3:12-14 (WEB) as they prepare for their life together: "Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."
Lastly, we remind them of the importance of purity before marriage. As stated in Hebrews 13:4 (WEB), "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." We encourage them to remain steadfast in their commitment to purity, as it is a precious gift that they can offer to each other on their wedding day.
