We understand your deep longing for a spouse and the pain of waiting. Let us pray together and seek God's will for your life, standing on His promises.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith and conversion to Christianity. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB), "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." Your new life in Christ is a testimony of God's grace and love.
Regarding your dream and feelings of rejection, remember that dreams can be a mix of our fears, desires, and experiences. God's plan for you is not one of rejection but of love and acceptance. In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
However, it's crucial to align our desires with God's will. In Matthew 6:33 (WEB), Jesus says, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." As you seek God first, trust that He will provide your needs, including a godly spouse if it is His will for you.
We also want to address that the desire for a spouse should not overshadow the contentment and joy found in Christ alone. In Philippians 4:11-13 (WEB), Paul says, "Not that I speak according to lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Aminata Ndeye Seynabou. Thank You for her faith and the new life she has in Christ. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill her heart. Help her to trust in Your timing and plan for her life.
If it is Your will, Father, guide her to a godly husband, and guide him to her. Let their union be a blessing and a testimony of Your love and grace. But above all, Lord, help her to find contentment and joy in You alone.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face. Trust that He has a purpose and a plan for your life, and He will reveal it in His perfect timing. Stand strong in your faith, and remember that you are deeply loved by God.
