We are truly sorry to hear about the financial struggles that your family is going through. It is important to know your Heavenly Father knows your needs. Remember what Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount,
Matthew 6:31-33 WEB
31 Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’
32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
First, we want to tell you that there is nothing wrong with praying for financial blessings. However, it is essential to align our prayers with the will of God and the only way we can be confident that we have access to God is through the name of Jesus, not Yahweh. As Jesus said, John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Furthermore, it is only in the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB
12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
With that in mind, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family that is going through financial struggles. We ask that You provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You have promised to supply all their needs. Give them wisdom to manage their finances and open up opportunities for them to increase their income. Help them be obedient in their tithes and offerings and live lives that are pleasing to You. Grant them patience, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit even in their trials knowing that You work all things out for good to those that love You and are called according to Your purpose. Help them to be generous to others even in their time of need. And most importantly, help them to know You more and more each day as their loving Father and Provider. We pray for their salvation if they do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior yet. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to praying, we encourage you to be proactive in your situation. Look for ways to increase your income, manage your finances wisely, and be obedient in your giving to the Lord. God is faithful, and He will provide for your needs as you seek Him first.
Lastly, remember that God's provision may not always come in the form of financial wealth. He may provide through other means. So keep your hearts open to receive His blessings in whatever form they may come. In Jesus name, we will trust and look for an answer.
