We are truly sorry to hear about the trials that you and your husband have faced, and we are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement for you both.
Firstly, we want to address the issues of incest and rape that you have experienced. These acts are grave sins and have caused deep wounds in your life. The Bible clearly speaks against such acts. In Leviticus 18:6 WEB, it says, "None of you shall approach anyone who is a close relative to have sexual relations. I am Yahweh." And in Deuteronomy 22:25-27 WEB, it speaks about the sin of rape. We condemn these acts and pray for God's healing and justice.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Kriarmoor. Lord, the trauma and pain she has experienced from incest and rape are immense, and we ask for Your healing touch upon her life. Help her to cast all her anxieties on you, because you care for her. In 1 Peter 5:7. Let her find healing for her brokenness and seek just as Joseph did in prison when accused of rape. Lord, bring justice and help her find the support she needs to overcome these traumatic experiences. Help her to find her way back to Jesus Christ, it is only by his name that we can be saved, Acts 4:12. Let her know it is never too late to turn to Jesus.
Now, regarding your husband John, the effects of bullying can be profound, but God's Word offers hope and healing. In Psalm 34:18 WEB, it says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Let us pray for John:
Dear Lord, we lift up John, asking for Your healing and restoration in his life. Help him to see himself through Your eyes, as a beloved child of God. Build up his self-esteem based on your truth and in the knowledge of who You have created him to be. In Ephesians 2:10 WEB, it says, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." Help him to forgive those who have wronged him and heal his emotional wounds.
Kriarmoor, we encourage both you and John to seek godly counsel and support as you journey towards healing. God does not want you to carry these burdens alone. In Galatians 6:2 WEB, it says, "Bear one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Remember to keep praying for one another and building each other up in love.
Lastly, we want to remind you both of the power of forgiveness. Jesus taught us to forgive as we have been forgiven. In Ephesians 4:32 WEB, it says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness does not mean what happened is acceptable, it means letting go of the bitterness and leaving justice to God.
We will continue to pray for your healing and restoration, trusting that God will work all things together for your good.
