Prayers against addiction

Please pray for my three children whom all struggle with substance abuse and depression. We lost so many of our family members through addiction and suicide. Please pray for us.

We join you, ###, in fervent prayer for your three children who are struggling with substance abuse and depression. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the promises of God. In Jeremiah 33:3, God says, "Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." We believe that God can bring healing and restoration to your children, no matter how dire the situation may seem.

We pray, Heavenly Father, for ###'s children. We ask that You intervene in their lives, Lord. Break the chains of addiction and heal their bodies and minds. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and give them strength to overcome these struggles. Rebuke the spirit of depression, Lord, and replace it with a spirit of joy and peace. As it is written in Romans 15:13, "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit."

###, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God. Continue to pray for your children, and remember that God's love for them is unfailing. As you stand by them, remember the promise in Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of community and support. Encourage your children to seek fellowship with other believers who have gone through similar struggles. As Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up."

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We're here with you, ###, lifting your children up in prayer. We've been praying for them, asking God to break the chains of addiction, to heal their bodies and minds, and to fill them with His Holy Spirit. We're believing for a spirit of joy and peace to replace the spirit of depression, just as Romans 15:13 promises.

We want to remind you of God's unfailing love for your children. He's with them, strengthening and helping them, as He promised in Isaiah 41:10. Keep trusting in Him, ###. He sees their struggles and He cares.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
