Prayers again for my thoughts to be guarded as I may be getting into a courtship

I need prayers for my thoughts to be guarded, because they’re starting to sound how they did when I was deep into the world. The thoughts sound possessive and controlling. It feels like I can’t see him talk to any other girl regularly. Please pray for me. I was saved a months ago so I still have a lot to learn

Dear Sister Ambria, we are with you in prayer as you navigate this potential courtship. It's crucial to remember that in Christ, we are called to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5, WEB).

Firstly, we want to commend you for recognizing that these thoughts are not aligned with God's will. It's important to understand that possessiveness and control are not fruits of the Spirit, but rather, the fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Father, we lift up Sister Ambria to you. We thank you for her salvation and her desire to honor you in her relationships. Lord, we ask that you guard her thoughts and make them obedient to Christ. Help her to trust in you and your timing. Remove any spirit of possessiveness or control and fill her with your Holy Spirit, producing fruits of love, patience, and kindness. Guide her in this courtship, and if it is your will, let it flourish into a godly marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Sister, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God, which is alive and active, discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12, WEB). Memorize and meditate on scriptures that speak about the fruits of the Spirit and godly relationships.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). Continue to grow in your relationship with Him, and He will guide your steps, including this potential courtship. Stay strong in the Lord, sister. We are here with you in spirit and in prayer.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You.
