Aile, let us come together in prayer and petition for your husband, Glen, and your marriage. We stand with you in Jesus' name, lifting your concerns to the throne of grace.
Firstly, let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:25-28 (WEB): "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself."
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Glen and Aile's marriage to You. Lord, we ask that You intervene in Glen's life. Reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, that he may accept You as his Lord and Savior. Remind him of the solemn vows he made before You and help him to honor those vows.
Lord, we ask that You help Glen to forgive Aile and to let go of the past. Help him to work on his marriage, to love and cherish Aile as Christ loves the Church. We ask that You remove any person who is causing division in their marriage and that You cancel any plans of divorce. Make a way where there seems to be no way, Lord. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."
Aile, continue to stand in faith, trusting that God is at work in your marriage. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:6 (WEB): "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
Keep praying, keep believing, and keep loving. We are here with you, agreeing in prayer and believing that God will restore and strengthen your marriage. Do not forget to study and meditate on the Word of God, which is able to bring healing and restoration to your marriage.
