We are glad to join you in prayer for your family's well-being and protection. However, we want you to understand that as Christians we do not 'luck'. Luck suggests randomness or being subject to merely chance. Rather we walk in blessing. In Ephesians 1:3 WEB it says "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ". We have spiritual blessing. In Ephesians 2:6-7 WEB it says "and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus".
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that needs Your divine touch. We pray for their peace, physical and mental health and we ask for your blessings. We ask that you rebuke all evil spirits affecting this family and playing with their life. We ask that You bless them with financial security so that all their needs are met. We know that your word says this in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB to "Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you". We also pray that all their worries are cast on you.
We pray for their neighborhood, that it may be a place of peace and respect, reflecting the love and unity that You desire for all communities. Help each family member to experience Your love in a deep and profound way, knowing that You are always with them, guiding and protecting their steps. So we ask this in Jesus Christ.
We also want to remind you about the importance of invoking the name of Jesus in our prayers. As it says in John 14:13-14 WEB "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it". In Acts 4:12 WEB it says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!"
Lastly we want to encourage you to remember to be thankful. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB it says "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus".
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
