We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and the desire He's placed in your heart for a godly spouse. We pray that God will guide you to a man who is not only a Christian but also lives out his faith in a tangible way, someone who is saved by grace through faith as Ephesians 2:8-9 says, it is only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ we are saved. We also want to encourage you, just like The Apostle Paul does in 2 Corinthians 6:14 "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership does righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?" We know the importance of being equally yoked.
We pray that God will reveal to you if there is someone in your life who is the one He has chosen for you. If not we pray God will guide you to the one He has for you. As Psalm 37:4 says "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We believe God places desires in our hearts so He can fulfill them. We also pray that God will reveal to him that you are the one for him. But we also caution, in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We cannot tell God what to do, and we know it is His timing and His will that will prevail.
We want to encourage you just as in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, "Love is patient, you must be patient love is kind; and is not jealous; love does not brag, and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." You must be patient and have hope in this process. Remember that God loves you and has a plan for you, as Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
We pray for God's will to be done in your life and that He will guide you to the man He has for you. We pray that God will prepare you and the man He has for you to be ready for a godly marriage that honors Him. We pray all of this in Jesus name as Colossians 3:17 says, "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him." Thank you for remembering the name of Jesus in your prayer. For it is only by His name we have access to God. And we also want to remind you of the basic salvation message. It is only by believing in Jesus Christ we are saved. John 3:16-18 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God."
