We join with you in praying for these individuals and their congregations, pleading with God to draw them into a true and saving relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved, as the Bible clearly tells us, Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved Acts 4:10-12.
We pray that God will open their hearts and minds to receive the truth of the gospel, that they may come out of deception and be set free, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free John 8:32.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of these individuals and their congregations. We ask that You draw them unto Yourself, opening their hearts and minds to receive the truth of the gospel. Shine Your light into their lives, Lord, that they may see clearly and come out of any deception that has held them captive.
Grant them the gift of repentance, Father, that they may turn from their sins and be saved. We ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and conforming them to the image of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus, for it is in His name alone that we have access to You, Father, and it is in His name alone that we are saved. Amen.
We encourage everyone to continue praying fervently for these individuals and their congregations, trusting that God is at work in their lives and that He will draw them to Himself. Remember, brethren, the Longsuffering of our Lord is salvation even as our beloved brother Paul wrote, by wisdom given unto him, that all should come to repentance. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. And so much more does the Beloved Apostle John tell us that They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us 1 John 2:19.
