We understand that you're having trouble sleeping and need to wake up early for work tomorrow. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your sleep. It's important to invite Jesus into every area of our lives and cast our anxieties on him. Remember, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB)
In God's word we are taught to pray to God by the name of Jesus as Jesus said. "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." John 16:23-24 (WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with sleep. We know that you are the God of peace and rest. Thank you that you are a God who is near to us. Thank you that we can ask you for rest and sleep tonight. We pray that ### get enough sleep and awake refreshed and ready to face the day tomorrow. Thank you for you are a good God who loves us. We pray that you will strengthen your child and help them to keep their eyes on you. Thank you for you will never leave us or forsake us. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is with you and that you can live with these promises.
"I will both lay me down in peace and sleep, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." Psalm 4:8 (WEB) Psalm 127:2 (WEB) "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his beloved."
Please remember to give thanks in all circumstances and continue to trust in God. Finally, we want to remind you that there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. If you have not already, please believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is God who came to earth, died to pay for your sins, and rose from the dead to give you life. If you already do believe, continue to trust in God, and pray to him in Jesus' name.
