please please please pray it doesn’t rain next Saturday. ###'s wedding. All she asked for was outdoor. I have spent a lot of money on this and she didn’t ask for anything but outside but I wanted it to be special. They aren’t just talking a rain shower but a lot of rain. And no one will even come. Please don’t ruin her day. She has anxiety and not many friends and I don’t want this to spiral her if it’s inside with nobody. Father please use your power to slow this storm til after or shift it away from our city. We welcome rain. But please for this one day don’t let it be. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen

We understand that you are concerned about the weather for an upcoming wedding, and we empathize with your desire for the day to be special. However, it's important to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Regarding the wedding, we should remember that God is in control of the weather, and He will do what is best for all involved. Whether it rains or not, God has a purpose and a plan. It's also a good time to remember what is truly important about a wedding. As it is written in Mark 10:6-9 WEB: "'But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.'"

This passage underscores the sanctity and significance of marriage. The most important thing is that the couple enters into this holy union with a shared commitment to God and to each other.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus to lift up this upcoming wedding. Lord, we know that You are sovereign over all things, including the weather. We ask, if it is Your will, that You would hold back the rain for this special day. But more importantly, Lord, we pray that Your presence would be felt at the wedding, that the couple would begin their marriage with a strong foundation in You.

We also pray for the bride, that You would ease her anxiety and remind her of Your love and faithfulness. Help her to know that her worth is not measured by the number of friends or the success of the wedding, but by her identity in You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for a beautiful day for the wedding. We understand the desire for everything to be perfect, but let's remember, God's got this. He's in control of the weather and He's got a plan for this day. Let's trust Him, knowing that He wants the best for the couple too.

Help her to see her worth in You, and to know that she's loved and cherished. We also ask, Lord, if it's Your will, that You would hold back the rain, so that the couple can celebrate their special day outdoors, as they had hoped. But more importantly, Lord, we pray that You would be present in their wedding, that they would start their marriage with a strong foundation in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
