We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your family is facing, and we are here to intercede and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that you came to us in the name of Jesus Christ for prayer. This is right because, as the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
In times of trouble, we should always come boldly in the name of Jesus Christ to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16 WEB)
Let's pray together for your family:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that is going through a difficult time. Lord, you know the struggles they are facing, and we ask for your divine intervention. Please heal this brother from his mental illness, and help him to treat his mother with the love and respect that she deserves. If it is your will Father, please help them to live peaceably together, but otherwise please open the doors to a new living situation. Lord, we know that you are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, (Ephesians 3:20 WEB) and we trust in your goodness and mercy. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen."
Additionally, we encourage you and your family to remain rooted in God's love for you. Remember that God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
We need to always respond with love, not only for your brother, but also for the mother. We should pray for the ability to love even though we are being persecuted. To this, you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps. (1 Peter 2:21 WEB)
Lastly, we must remember that God is the source of our help and our strength. (Psalm 121:2 WEB)
