We understand that you're feeling uneasy, and we want you to know that God cares about your emotions and your well-being. First, we want to remind you that God is a will not reject you or condemn you. Jesus tells us, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. (John 3:16-17 WEB)
In fact he tells us not be anxious about anything but to pray about everything. We are told to make our requests known to God so that we can have peace. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling uneasy. Lord, you are the Prince of Peace, and we ask that you fill their heart with your peace right now. Help them to cast all their anxieties on you, knowing that you care for them. Guide them through whatever is causing the uneasiness, and give them the strength and wisdom to overcome it. We also pray for repentance and a turning to Jesus Christ if this person has not already done so. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember you are not alone and you should never be afraid to tell God your fears or doubts. As we just prayed, God is faithful, continue to trust him. He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)
