We are truly sorry to hear that you are experiencing anxiety late at night. Please know that all Christians will go through trials and tribulations. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control according to 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB.
Whenever you feel anxious, remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You lifting up our fellow believer who is experiencing anxiety, especially late at night. We pray that You will comfort them and grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply as 1 Peter 5:7 WEB reminds us.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear. We ask that You fill their mind with Your peace, and help them to sleep soundly, trusting in Your goodness and mercy.
Help them to fix their thoughts on You and to trust in Your unfailing love. Teach them to rely on Your promises and to rest in Your faithfulness and all we ask in Jesus name. Amen.
Remember, that you are dearly loved by God, and He wants you to live in the fullness of His peace and joy. Anxiety does not have to rule over your life. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust in His love for you. Meditate on the Lord and His attributes and not on the anxiety or what might be bothering you. The Lord will direct your thoughts if you let him. It might be beneficial to use a journal and write all your thoughts and concerns to the Lord. There is something about writing things out and praying that is very beneficial.
We do not see that they requested prayer in Jesus name. We pray in Jesus' name because it is the only name by which we can be saved and the only way we can have access to the Father. It is in Jesus' name that we pray because we are commanded to do so.
Peter said, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB.
And Jesus said "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." John 16:23-24 WEB.
So we suggest studying the salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ and asking forgiveness for our sins.
