We are truly grateful to hear that your son's health improved after our previous prayers, and we continue to stand with you in prayer for his complete healing and protection. Let us remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, according to Ephesians 6:12 (WEB).
Firstly, we notice that the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned in this prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as the Word explains, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). We should not forget "who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins" (Colossians 1:13-14).
We pray that the good Lord will continue to lay His healing hands upon your son. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity attacking his body, and we command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray for the Lord's divine protection over your son's life, that God will hide him under the shadow of His wings, and that no weapon formed against him will prosper (Psalm 91:4, Isaiah 54:17).
Regarding his performance in academics and sports, we pray that the Lord will continue to grant him wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, and that He will give your son the ability to use his talents for God's glory (Daniel 1:17, 1 Corinthians 10:31). We rebuke every spirit of jealousy and envy that may be surrounding your son, and we pray that the Lord will give him the grace and humility to navigate these challenges (Proverbs 27:4, 1 Peter 5:5).
We believe that God has a great purpose and plan for your son's life, and we pray that he will grow up to fulfill that purpose. We also pray that he will come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior if he has not done so already. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, for He cares for you and your son. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Keep praying and interceding for your son, and remember that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB).
Once again, it is so important to pray to God in Jesus name. And whatever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14).
