We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage. Let's bring your situation before the Lord in unity, as Jesus prayed from John 17:21 WEB, "that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me."
Firstly, we want to remind you that God hates divorce as mentioned in Malachi 2:16 WEB, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't be unfaithful." So, let's pray for restoration and unity in your marriage.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister and her marriage. Lord, You know the pain and desperation she is feeling right now. We pray for Your comfort and peace to surround her. We stand against any plan of the enemy to destroy her marriage. Lord, we pray for a miraculous intervention, that You would soften her spouse's heart and bring them home.
We will ask for a miracle from Romans 4:17 WEB, the God "who gives life to the dead, and calls the things that are not, as though they were."
We pray for forgiveness, understanding, and love to flow between them again. We ask that You would help them to see each other through Your eyes, to remember the love and commitment they made to each other. We pray for open lines of communication, for wisdom to guide their conversations, and for the healing of past hurts.
We will also pray from 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 WEB, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails."
And also from 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 WEB, "But to the married I command--not I, but the Lord--that the wife not leave her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."
Father, we ask for Your will to be done in their lives and marriage. We pray for a miracle of restoration and unity. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to be patient and loving. Remember that God is faithful, and He cares about your marriage. Continue to pray and believe for a miracle. Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding.
