We are glad to join you in prayer, ###, and we appreciate your faith in God's provision. We will pray for your job search, your upcoming marriage, and your family. We also want to remind you of God's promise in the Bible:
"But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
Firstly, let's address your job search. We pray that God will open the doors to the right employment opportunities for you. Remember that God has a plan and a purpose for you, and He will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. Trust in His timing and do not grow discouraged.
Lord, we lift up ### to You, asking that You would guide her in her job search. Open the doors that need to be opened, and close the doors that need to be closed. Provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding your upcoming marriage, we are thrilled to hear that God has brought a good man into your life.
"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
(2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB)
We encourage you to ensure that you are both believers in Jesus Christ. If not, then you are unequally yoked and this is expressly forbidden in the Bible. We pray that God will bless your union and that you both will be a testimony of His love and grace and seek to be a testimony. We pray for a godly marriage. Please see the story of Isaac and Rebekah in Genesis 24:67, and their example of marriage in Genesis 25:20-21.
Lord, we ask that You would bless ###'s upcoming marriage. Guide them as they prepare for this sacred union, and help them to keep You at the center of their relationship and marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We join you in praying for protection over yourself and your family. We pray for your children, that God will watch over them and guide them in His truth.
"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.'" (Psalm 91:1-2 WEB)
Lord, we ask that You would protect ### and her family. Watch over them and keep them safe from harm. Guide them in Your truth, and help them to trust in You always. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We also join you in praying for forgiveness of your sins. We are all sinners in need of God's grace, and we are thankful that He is faithful and just to forgive us when we confess our sins to Him.
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:7-9 WEB)
Lord, we ask that You would forgive ### of her sins. Help her to walk in Your light and to live in a way that pleases You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved.
"'He is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, but which has become the head of the corner.'
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:11-12 WEB)
Finally, we leave you with this encouragement:
"Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. Keep the faith and continue in prayer. May God continue to strengthen you and may you lack no good thing.
