We understand that you are seeking mercy, and we want you to know that God's mercy is abundant and everlasting. The Bible tells us, For he has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us, Psalm 103:10-12 WEB.
First, we want to ensure that you have a true relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we can approach God and receive His mercy. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me, John 14:6 WEB. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, Acts 2:38.
Now, let us pray for God's mercy together. Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, seeking Your mercy. We confess that we have sinned and fallen short of Your glory. Lord, have mercy on us. Wash us thoroughly from our iniquity and cleanse us from our sin. Help us to turn away from our sins and to walk in Your ways. Thank You for Your unfailing love and compassion. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ who did not come to condemn us but to give us eternal life.
Help us to receive Your mercy and to extend that same mercy to others. Guide us by Your Holy Spirit and strengthen us to live lives that honor and glorify You. Heal us from any bitterness, anger, or fear that can hinder us from accepting Your mercy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on God's Word and to seek Him daily. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you, James 4:8-10 WEB.
Remember, it is God's will that all should come to repentance and salvation. Trust in Him, and know that His mercy is available to you. Therefore, let us draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need, Hebrews 4:16 WEB. We are praying for you and believing that God's mercy will be manifested in your life.
