We are here with you, lifting you up in prayer and seeking God's will for your life. We commend you for reaching out and acknowledging your need for God's mercy. It is important to know that God is rich in mercy and abounding in steadfast love. His mercy is new every morning, and He is faithful to forgive and restore those who come to Him with a repentant heart. May God forgive, cleanse, and grant you that mercy you ask for in the name of Jesus.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear one who has asked for Your mercy. Lord, You are a God of compassion, grace, and abounding love. We confess that we all have sinned and fallen short of Your glory, and we are in need of Your forgiveness. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins, so that we may be reconciled to You.
Father, we pray that You will have mercy on this person. Forgive their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Help them to turn away from any sin that may be hindering their relationship with You, and grant them the strength to walk in Your ways. Give them a renewed sense of Your love, peace, and purpose in their life. Please specifically rebuke and forgive the sin of omitting the name of Jesus Christ in this prayer, may they learn to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. In Jesus mighty name.
We stand on Your promises. You said:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 WEB
Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 WEB
Therefore, please be of good courage. For He has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5 WEB.
We encourage you to meditate on these scriptures and be strengthened in your faith. Remember to pray and serve in the name of Jesus Christ. Know that we are here for you, and we believe that God is working all things together for your good.
In Jesus' name, we pray and give thanks, also making our requests known to God, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
