Let's bring your request to God together, seeking His will for your relationships.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God's desire is for us to have healthy and godly relationships. In Psalm 133:1, it says, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" However, it's crucial to ensure that these relationships align with biblical principles.
As we pray, let's remember the importance of the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is through His name that we have access to God, and it is only by believing in Him that we can be saved. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, He died on the cross for our sins, He rose from the dead on the third day, and He is coming back again.
Now, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved person to You. We pray that You would bless their relationships, heal any that are strained, and give them wisdom to navigate each one in a way that honors You.
Father, we pray for discernment. Help them to identify any relationships that do not align with Your will and give them the strength to make necessary changes. Guide them towards relationships that are centered around the goal of marriage to another Christian Believer.
We also pray for purity in these relationships. Remind them of the sanctity of marriage and the importance of fleeing from sexual immorality, as Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
Finally Father, we pray that each relationship would be a reflection of Your love and a testament to the power of Your grace. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers.
