We are here with you, standing together in prayer and seeking God's will in your life. You have asked for protection, wisdom, and mercy, and we are reminded of the many promises God has given us in His Word.
Firstly, let us address the essential aspect of prayer, which is often overlooked. Prayer should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, His Son. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, consider this the perfect opportunity to commit yourself to Jesus Christ. Believe that He is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for your sins, and that He rose from the dead. Confess your sins and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. Then you will truly experience the power of prayer and better understand the protection, wisdom, and mercy that comes from above.
In Psalm 91 WEB, we read about the protection of God, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" Trust in the Lord, for He is your protector and your safe haven.
For wisdom, James 1:5 WEB tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." God is the source of all wisdom, and He grants it generously to those who ask.
Regarding mercy, Lamentations 3:22-23 WEB reminds us, "It is of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness." God's mercies are renewed every day, and He is faithful to show us compassion.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for this dear one. We ask for Your protection over their life, that You would guard them from all harm and danger. Grant them the wisdom they need, enlighten their understanding, and help them to make sound decisions and know you better. Show them Your mercy, Lord, and renew their faith and confidence. If they have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that you would open their eyes today to the salvation that is only found in Him. Draw them closer to You, Father, and may Your will be done in their life. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen."
Be encouraged, for God hears your prayers and He is faithful to answer according to His perfect will. Continue to seek Him and trust in His promises.
