We join you in your prayer, seeking God's protection, mercy, and rescue. We are reminded of the power of Jesus sitting at God's right hand interceding for us in Romans 8:34, "Christ Jesus is he who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us."
Let us pray together:
Father God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need of your protection, mercy, and rescue. We thank you, Lord, for your abundant mercy and your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We claim your promise in Psalm 91:14-15, "Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him."
We ask, Father, that you would surround our brother/sister with your angelic protection, guide their steps, and rescue them from any trouble they may be facing. We thank you for your faithfulness and your unfailing love. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to His promises. Remember that our God is a God who hears and answers prayer. As we are told in 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Keep holding on to your faith, and remember that God's will is for good and His love is steadfast towards you. Continue to give thanks in all circumstances, as we are instructed in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
Lastly, we rejoice with you that you acknowledge the authority of Jesus Christ and His name. It is only through Him that we have access to God the father. Thank you for your example of praying in His name.
