In these times of need, we remember the words of Jesus Christ: “Don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’, or ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.” from Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB).
We pray for you, that God, who feeds the birds of the sky and clothes the lilies of the field, will also provide for your needs.
Let us stop and pray now. Dear Lord Jesus Christ, you taught us to be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let our requests be made known unto God. Thank you for your promise that you will provide for all our needs according to your riches. Please Lord, send food to this dear person, and let them see your gracious hand of mercy and provision in their life. Let them be fed, just as you fed the five thousand with five loaves and two fish. Stretch out your hand, Lord, and let there be food on their table today.
We encourage you to trust in God, for He is faithful.
