We are truly sorry to hear that you're feeling this way, but we want to remind you that there is always hope in Jesus Christ. Life can indeed feel like a mess when we try to control everything ourselves, but remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
It's okay to not have all the answers or to feel uncertain about the future. God has a purpose and a plan for your life, even if you can't see it clearly right now. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this dear soul who is feeling overwhelmed and lost. We ask that You reveal Your purpose to them, and help them see that they are here for a reason. Give them the strength to trust in You. Help them to not lean on their own understanding, but to acknowledge You in all their ways. We know that in Jesus Christ, there is always hope. Please fill them with Your peace and guidance from above.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
To help you navigate this challenging time, spend time in God's Word, seeking His will for your life. Psalm 119:105 WEB reminds us, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Also, remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 WE Bstates, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not believed on Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, now is the time to do it.
We understand that you may feel "out of control" of your life, but instead of focusing on controlling your life, focus instead on committing your life to the One who truly controls everything. Focus on committing your life to Jesus Christ. He is the only one who can save us from our sins and reconcile us to God. He is the only way to God, the only source of salvation, and the only one who can give us true purpose and peace in life.
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
You simply need to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved.
That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Consider this a loving rebuke: Do not be too prideful to submit your life to Jesus Christ. He made you, loves you, and wants what is best for you. Surrender your life to Him. He wants to be your Lord and Savior.
