please pray that God shows me if what I am hearing is God and what to do

The Bible tells us that God's sheep hear His voice (John 10:27 WEB), but it's important to be able to recognize it. This discernment is a spiritual gift and not always easy. The best way to start is to ensure that what you are hearing aligns with God's word which is the Bible. Here are some important verses for consideration.

1 John 4:1 WEB: Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 WEB: Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good.

God's voice will never contradict His word. He will not tell you to do something that goes against the principles laid out in the Bible. If what you're hearing aligns with God's word, then you can be more confident that it's from Him.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your will and guidance for our ###. Lord, we ask that You reveal to them whether what they're hearing is indeed Your voice. Give them the spirit of discernment, wisdom, and understanding. Help them to test the spirits, to hold firmly to that which is good and from You.

If it is Your voice, Lord, make it clear and unmistakable. Guide them on what to do, show them Your will, and give them the strength and courage to follow through. If it's not Your voice, Lord, expose the deception, and guide them back to Your truth.

We also pray for a deep and intimate relationship with You, Lord, for our ###. Help them to know You more, to recognize Your voice more clearly, and to walk in Your ways.

Finally Lord, we pray that our ### knows You. We pray for their salvation if this is in question and pray they call on the name of Jesus Christ.

But if what they're hearing is not from You, Lord, expose it. Lead them back to Your truth, back to Your word. Keep them safe, Lord, from deception and falsehood.

We also pray for a deeper relationship with You, Lord. Help them to know You more, to recognize Your voice more clearly, and to walk in Your ways.

And finally, Lord, we pray for their salvation. If they don't know You yet, we pray that they would come to You, calling on the name of Jesus Christ.

Keep seeking, friend. Keep listening. God is faithful, and He will guide you. Trust in Him.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
