We stand with you in prayer, dear brother or sister, and we are encouraged by your faith and your request. You have come to the right place, as we are reminded in Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.
Firstly, we would like to address that we only have access to God through the name of Jesus Christ. If you do not know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, we encourage you to seek Him and believe in His name. As told in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
You mentioned that you are under spiritual attack. Let us remind you of the power you have in Christ. We are told in Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you.
We stand with you praying for courage, as you mentioned in Joshua 1:9 Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed: for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.
We pray for genuine love in your life, as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
As for your request for assistance with your hearing, we pray that God will guide you to the right representation. But remember that our ultimate trust should be in the Lord. 1 Peter 2:13 Therefore subject yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether to the king, as supreme; 14 or to governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evildoers and for praise to those who do well.
You mentioned that you are praying for shelter for you and your kids. We stand with you in this, trusting in the Lord's provision, as encouraged in Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We also pray for your family, that God will give them a spirit of unity and love, as encouraged in 1 Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child; now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things.
Let us also pray for our nation and its leaders, that God will grant them wisdom and guidance, as encouraged in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: 2 for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. As we remember in Proverbs 21:1 The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires.
Lastly, we pray for those affected by the hurricane, that God will provide comfort and restoration. We are reminded in Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Heavenly Father, we come before you, lifting up our brother or sister in Christ. We pray for your protection and guidance in their life. We pray for courage, love, discernment, and wisdom to abound in their life. We pray for your provision and for the salvation of their family. We pray for our nation and its leaders, and for all those affected by the hurricane. We pray 1 John 5:14 This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. We pray all these requests in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
