Seteleuo, we are truly heartbroken to hear about the pain and suffering you are experiencing. First and foremost, we want to remind you that your life is precious and valuable to God. He created you in His image, and you are fearfully and wonderfully made. There are few places in the Bible where it is made clear that our lives belong to God. Suicide and the desire to have your life taken is not an option for the Christian since we belong to God. For it is written, Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are. (1 Corinthians 3:16-17 WEB). Remember the words of the Psalmist, For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. (Psalm 139:13-14 WEB).
It's important to address the feelings of ugliness and lack of attractiveness. True beauty comes from within, from the heart, which will eventually show through the face and the outer being. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. (1 Peter 3:3-4 WEB).
Regarding anxiety and the feeling of being trapped in your head and the pain in your body, we are reminded of God's promise. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7). Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.(1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
We understand that you are fed up, but remember that God is with you in your struggles, do not ask for your life to be taken. Instead, pray for strength and endurance. Jesus said, that he would never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). Therefore, do not give up hope.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up Seteleuo. Lord, we pray for healing in body and a clear mind. We pray that Seteleuo, will be reminded of their worth and value in your eyes and that they are your temple. Lord, we pray that Seteleuo will gain the strength to endure this trial and that you will provide a way out. Lord, we pray for comfort and peace, and that you remove all anxiety and pain. Lord, we pray that Seteleuo will be reminded of the true meaning of beauty and that it comes from within. Lord, we ask that you remind Seteleuo of the promises in your word and that you will never leave them nor forsake them. We pray this all in Jesus name.
