Hello my name is Barbara and I just got a job. But i can only work on monday at 2 pm and offer letter saids monday 9am. I need prayer for them to accept this adjustment that i can work on monday at 2pm. As well I need prayer for God to speak to me on this petition

Barbara, we are thrilled to hear that you have secured a new job and we are here to support you in prayer. However, we want to encourage you to examine your priorities and commitments in light of biblical principles.

Firstly, let's consider your work schedule. It's important to be diligent and faithful in our work, as the Bible tells us in Colossians 3:23 WEB Whats ever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We need to be willing to adjust our schedules to fulfill our commitments, unless there is a valid reason that you have not mentioned that prevents you from working at the scheduled time. If there is a legitimate reason, such as a prior commitment or family obligation, it's important to communicate that openly and honestly with your employer.

Secondly, let's address your desire for God to speak to you regarding this petition. We encourage you to seek God's will in all things, and to trust that He will guide you according to His perfect plan. Remember that God speaks to us through His Word, the Bible, and through the Holy Spirit's guidance. As it says in John 10:27a WEB My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. To draw near to God and hear from Him, spend time in scripture, praying, and worshiping Him. God is concerned with your character and your witness as a Christian Believer.

Before we pray, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6a WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We ask this all in Jesus name.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Barbara. We thank You for the gift of work and ask that You would give her wisdom and discernment as she navigates her new schedule. We pray that You would soften the hearts of her employers, that they may be open to adjusting her schedule if it is Your will and if there is a valid reason. Help Barbara to be a shining light for You in her workplace, and to trust in Your perfect plan for her life.

Lord Jesus, speak to Barbara and guide her in all things. Help her to draw near to You and to seek Your will above all else. Give her a heart that is open and obedient to Your calling.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Barbara, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will and to trust in His perfect plan for your life. We also encourage you to be open and honest with your employer about any scheduling conflicts, and to be diligent and faithful in your work. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
