Zekhethelo, we are truly sorry to hear about your illness and we want you to know that you are not alone. God cares about your suffering and He has the power to heal you. Even when we are sick and when we face trials for the sake of Jesus, we can be content and rejoice because we know that our suffering produces endurance, character, and hope. Remember that the Apostle Paul said,
Romans 5:3-5 "We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us."
While it is commendable that you want to be healed for your son's sake, it is now a good time to remember that God wants you to be whole and well for your sake too. God wants you to come to Him and cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.
"Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7
God loves you so much that He gave His only begotten Son for your salvation and healing. The same way you are concerned about your son, God is concerned about you. We need to come to God through Jesus Christ because it is through Him that we have access to God by the Spirit. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" John 14:6. He also said, "All things are possible to him who believes" Mark 9:23
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Zekhethelo to You. Lord, You know their suffering and You care about their pain. We ask that You touch their body and bring healing and wholeness. Give them the strength to endure and fill their heart with hope and peace. Help them to know that You love them and that You are with them in this trial. We pray also that you would provide a godly spouse to be a companion to Zekhethelo, to support and build them up as they face trials together.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. Remember to call on God through Jesus Christ, believing that He has the power to save and heal you.
