Soymoor please let us know if the car would be a need or a want. Although we want to pray and believe with you for a new car, we do not want it to be an idol, a status symbol, or to live a lifestyle that you cannot afford and get into unnecessary debt and bondage.
Let's remember what the Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:11-13 WEB, "Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
We should also be content and depend on Christ for our strength and not a new car. Having a car is important in the world we live in today. But if your current car is running and dependable then pray about if you should replace it.
We know there are times when we need to replace our car. There are times when the car breaks down more than it is running. There are times when the repair costs outweigh the price of a new car. There are times when we are driving long distance and we want to make sure we are safe. There are times when we have to drive others that we want to make sure we can do it safely. There are times when a car is needed for work. There are times when the car is totaled and we need a new car. In these cases we know you would use a car for the glory of God and to help others.
Let's pray together for God's will.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Soymoor's request for a new car. We ask that You guide them in deciding between a need and a want. Help them evaluate their current situation and make a wise decision that aligns with Your will.
If a new car is needed, we pray that You provide the right car at the right price, ensuring that it is a reliable and safe mode of transportation for Soymoor. Help them to be wise stewards of their finances and avoid unnecessary debt.
If a new car is simply a desire, we pray that You help Soymoor find contentment in their current situation and trust in Your provision. Help them to rely on You for their strength and needs.
We also pray that Soymoor would look for opportunities to use this request to share Jesus with others. We pray that others would see Jesus in them and want to know more about Him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Soymoor, we encourage you to trust in God's provision and timing.
We are reminded in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?
"Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
"Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
