Staelland, we are glad you have reached out for prayer and we are here to intercede on your behalf. We appreciate that you have taken time to share with us and we would like to discuss some points and pray for you. First, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or even an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name) in your prayer request. Please understand it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 WEB Jesus said:
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Also, in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
We only have access to God through Jesus Christ. We will pray in accordance with the Word of God and in the name of Jesus.
Regarding your relationship, you mentioned that it is now one year, but you did not mention whether this is a courtship with the goal of marriage. As Christians It is important to honor God in all our relationships. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, we are reminded:
Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
We should be in relationships with other Christians with the goal being marriage. We should not be in relationships simply to have a partner or a boyfriend/girlfriend. This is an excellent time to reflect on your relationship and evaluate whether it aligns with God's principles.
Since, fornication is sexual immorality condemned in the Bible, it is important to ensure that you are conducting yourselves appropriately with the other person. In Ephesians 5:3 WEB, it says:
But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.
Remember, God's design for intimacy is within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman. If there is any sexual activity occurring, it should be addressed, repented from, and stopped.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Staelland and their relationship. Lord, we pray that Your will be done in their life and that You guide them in all their decisions. If this relationship is not aligned with Your principles, we pray that You give Staelland the strength and wisdom to make the necessary changes.
We pray, Lord, that You help Staelland to honor You in all their actions and thoughts. If there is any sexual immorality, we pray that it is addressed, repented from, and stopped. We pray that their relationship is pure and honorable. We pray for a Christian spouse and a God honoring marriage if that is your will for Staelland, Lord.
We also pray that Staelland comes to know Jesus Christ if they do not know Him already. We pray that they come to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to experience the fullness of His love and grace.
We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Staelland, we encourage you to seek God's will in your relationship and to honor Him in all your actions. May God bless you and guide you in your journey.
