We join you, Curureth, in lifting up your requests to our Lord Jesus Christ, acknowledging that it is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. We are reminded in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is wonderful that you are coming before Him with your petitions, trusting in His power and goodness.
Firstly, we pray for your academic endeavors, that the Lord will bring to your remembrance all that you have studied. In John 14:26, Jesus says, "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you." We ask that the Holy Spirit will guide your hands and mind as you undertake your practicals, helping you to perform them with excellence.
We also intercede on your behalf regarding the relationships around you. It is commendable that you want to show Jesus' love to those who may be angry with you. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus tells us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you." We pray that God will give you the grace and strength to respond with love and kindness, even when others are angry or make fun of you. Remember, in Romans 12:14, we are encouraged, "Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse."
It is beautiful to see your desire to glorify God's name and to have Jesus be with you. In 1 Corinthians 10:31, it is written, "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." We pray that your life will indeed bring honor and glory to His name.
Regarding the class photo, we ask that the Lord will let His face shine upon you and grant you favor, that the photo will turn out well. In Numbers 6:25-26, God says, "Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you: Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace."
We are thankful that you have taken the time to repent of your sins. In 1 John 1:9, we are promised, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We rejoice in God's forgiveness and cleansing over your life.
Finally, we join you in thanking Jesus for hearing your prayer. In 1 John 5:14-15, we have confidence that "if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
We encourage you, Curureth, to continue in your faith, trusting in the Lord with all your heart. Keep studying and applying God's Word, and always be ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within you. We will continue to pray for you, asking that our Lord Jesus Christ will make Himself real in your life daily.
