Let's come together in prayer for your son's healing and comfort.
In the Book of James, we are reminded of the power of prayer, especially when we pray with integrity within our hearts: "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it didn't rain on the earth for three years and six months. He prayed again, and the sky gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit." (James 5:16-18) Elijah was a powerful example of prayer. We are also reminded of the encouragement to ask for healing: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." (James 5:14,15).
We know that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13) and that it is the name of Jesus that has been exalted above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11). We are also told And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for our dear brother's son. When You walked on Earth, You healed the sick, and we believe that You are still a God of healing. You said in Your Word: Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16). We ask boldly for Your healing touch for this child and for their parents. We ask for Your peace to come upon their hearts as You heal his ear infection. We ask that You continue to protect their entire family through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We also pray for their spiritual health, that they may be true believers in Jesus Christ and that they may raise their child to love and serve you. We pray that they have the confidence of Paul that they are saved by their faith in Jesus Christ as told to us in Romans 10:9: Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We pray that they will remember that it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved. We pray that they will continue to pray in the name of Jesus Christ and that they will remember that Jesus Christ said: Amen. I tell you, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you receive it, and you shall have it. (Mark 11:24)
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, comfort, and peace. Amen.
