We are glad to come together on your behalf to pray for deliverance from this bondage of smoking, Likmeksos. We believe that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can find true freedom and forgiveness. Thank you for acknowledging this in your request. God is always ready to forgive us and give us another chance when we come to Him with a repentant heart. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Smoking is a habit that can control us, but God wants us to be free from all bondage and live in the freedom that Christ has bought us with His precious blood. As it is written in Galatians 5:1 WEB, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Likmeksos in prayer. Lord, they have acknowledged their struggle with smoking and have come to You for help. We ask that You forgive them and cleanse them from this sin. Give them the strength and grace to quit smoking and never pick it up again. Help them to give their all to You, Lord. Strengthen their resolve, and help them to stand firm in the liberty that Christ has bought for them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to take this process one day at a time, trusting in God's strength to overcome this habit. Remember, God will not tempt you beyond what you can bear, and He will always provide a way out. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Whenever you feel tempted, pray and call on the name of Jesus. Surround yourself with supportive believers who can encourage you and hold you accountable. Trust in God's promise in Philippians 4:13 WEB, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
We are here for you, praying and believing that God will deliver you from this habit. Stand strong in your faith and trust in God's power to set you free.
