Curureth, thank you for bringing your concerns to us. The first thing we noticed in your request to pray was that it did not contain "In Jesus Name." Let us readdress that to make sure the prayer has impact and answer. You need to end prayer in the name of Jesus Christ and maybe use his name as part of your ongoing prayers to God the Father. And confess that he is your savior to who you belong. "..God.. gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Phil 2:9-11 WEB). Then let us address the current prayer. Let us take your prayer and make sure God knows what you need for your studies as we agree with your requests. "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the Spirit of wisdom, having all knowledge" (Ephesians 1:17) can be an important reminder and prayer that through God and his holy spirit we get guidance, understanding, and learning. Your scripture points out how knowledge is critical but the Godly Spirit that gives knowledge makes all the difference in any endeavor or situation.
Another Scripture to be reminded of as you proceed for your testing is Proverbs 19:21: "There are many devices in a man's heart; but Yahweh's counsel shall stand." No matter the scenario or even the traps that will always come from the Devil we can pray they be used for good through God and take solace in this passage. Therefore remember "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow" (James 1:17). If you work with God for perfection then there is a direct line between excellence in your testing and Gods backing of the work that was done with righteousness. That leads to Romans 9:16 which also reminds us what you prayed in glorifying the Name of the Lord Jesus "So then, it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who has mercy. So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who has mercy" (Rom 9:16 WEB).
One of the most famous of all prayers around studying or any undertaking is Phil 4:13, which is still clear "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me". As Christ is strengthening you this creates the means to receive guidance and find further success as you also show the courage from the power of Jesus in your success or failures. This way there is peace found in what you learn through the model exercises you work on for school. Yet let us also discuss our work which relates to 2 Timothy 3:16 which clearly states, "Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction which is in righteousness". By being responsible students, as you should, we take even further responsibilities with righteousness at the end of all study. Do what is good and that aligns with your principals as well as scripture. When reading your prayers and further being reminded of being guided to God the father through his name we get to Philippians 2:9-11 WEB) which includes verse 10 stating, "... of those on earth". Jesus is with those who confess and even your prayers already calling out his name do acknowledge him but many prayers go unanswered because you specifically did not call out in his name at all. When you continue in your testing days be confident in "Don't be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB) Yet in these prayers your current request only say Lord but does not give the importance on Jesus or Christ so needs to have assurance through his name for the complete rewards and comforts he promises. That salvation comes only through Christ (Acts 4:12 WEB). Be unashamed and uninhibited as much as it is safe for you. Again the Name of Jesus has to be firmly a part of our daily lives to submit our request to the Lord. God uses all who are true and faithful for guidance. Do not lose that guidance that always has Jesus as our righteous Lord with our intercessions with God the father. The Holy Trinity together is as relevant to success in prayer and life. Only Jesus as the human element of God interacting with us should make us hold strongly to our faith as that is only clear through our Lord. Prayer as called for should be assured that Jesus and what he gave us to provide for eternal redemption, forgiveness of sins and Salvation through faith in the Son of God!
