ChristopherM, we are with you in spirit, lifting your requests to God Almighty.
First, let's remember that God's presence is always with us. He promises, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you"Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB.
When we consider your relationships, the Bible says in First Corinthians 15:33 (WEB), "Do not be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'"
Be careful of the company you keep. This is to ensure you are not led away from the faith. In Second Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), it asks, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
If you are in courtship and considering marriage, ensure that the other person is also a believing Christian. This is what it means to not be unequally yoked. If you are already with someone who is not a believer, pray fervently for their salvation, and then make your decisions. Remember, "if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she is content to live with him, he should not divorce her. The husband who has an unbelieving wife and is content to live with her should not divorce her" 1 Corinthians 7:12-13 WEB.
In all this, let us remember all relationships should be preparations for marriage. Therefore, they need to be handled with great care. Sexual immorality should not be handled lightly. In First Corinthians 6:18 (WEB), it says, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
Furthermore, remember that God desires you to be in fellowship with Him. Therefore, your prayers should be in the name of Jesus. In John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting ChristopherM to Your throne of grace. Lord, guide him in his relationships. Help him to make decisions that honor and glorify You. Give him the strength and wisdom to flee from sexual immorality and to be a light to his friends and family. If the relationships should continue, heal any hardships and help them to succeed.
Lord Jesus, we know that You are the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through You. Therefore, help ChristopherM to trust You and be assured that You are with him. Work in the lives of his friends and family, drawing them to Yourself.
Comfort those who are hurting, and help those who are lost to find their way to You. If there are any in ChristopherM's life who do not know You, we pray that they would come to a saving knowledge of You.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust ChristopherM and his loved ones into Your hands, believing that You will work all things together for his good and Your glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Finally, if you request prayers without mentioning Jesus, it should be clarified that no one can come to God except through Jesus Christ. In Acts 4:12 (WEB), it says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
