Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for Ann who had an abusive childhood and now at 75 is having flashbacks that are very painful. Please Jesus heal my friend

Let us come together in prayer for Ann, who has been experiencing painful flashbacks from her abusive childhood. We stand with her in this difficult time, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we acknowledge that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is through His name that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence.

In times of distress and emotional pain, we turn to the promises of God. Isaiah 41:10 WEB reminds us, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." This is our prayer for Ann, that she will feel the presence of God, His strength, and His help during these challenging times.

We also remember the words of Jesus in John 14:27 WEB, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." May Ann experience the peace of Jesus, a peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 WEB.

Regarding the flashbacks, we pray for God's healing touch. Psalm 147:3 WEB tells us, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We ask that God will heal Ann's heart and bind up her wounds, both emotional and psychological.

We also encourage Ann to seek godly counsel and support from fellow believers. Galatians 6:2 WEB tells us to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." It is important for Ann to be surrounded by a loving and supportive community of believers who can help her bear this burden.

Lastly, we pray that Ann will continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He has a plan and a purpose for her life. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister Ann. Lord, You know the pain and suffering she has endured, both in her past and now through these flashbacks. We ask for Your healing touch upon her life. Comfort her with Your presence, strengthen her with Your power, and fill her with Your peace. Help her to trust in You, knowing that You have a plan and a purpose for her life. Surround her with godly counsel and a supportive community of believers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for Ann, standing with her in this tough time. We've been praying for her, asking God to wrap her in His comfort and strength. We know He's right there with her, just as He promised in Isaiah 41:10. We're also praying for peace, like Jesus gives, to guard her heart and mind. And we're asking God to heal her, to bind up those emotional wounds, just like Psalm 147:3 tells us He does. We're encouraging her to reach out to her church family, to let them help carry this burden. And we're reminding her, and ourselves, that God has a plan and a purpose for her life, just like Jeremiah 29:11 says. Let's keep praying, sisters and brothers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
