We are glad to join you in prayer for your family and your relationship with Travion Mathis. It's important to seek God's will in all aspects of our lives, including our relationships. Let's pray and consider what the Bible says about marriage and family life.
Firstly, we should emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father, as the Bible says "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (WEB, 1 Timothy 2:5). Furthermore, there is no other name by which we can be saved as the Bible says: "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved!” (WEB, Acts 4:12).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lyrainoraire, her children, and Travion Mathis. Lord, we ask for Your divine will to be done in their lives. If it is Your will for Travion to be the husband and father You desire for Lyrainoraire and her children, then let Your purpose be fulfilled.
We pray that Travion would put God first in his life, as You have commanded in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Lord, help Travion to be the spiritual leader of his family, loving and leading them according to Your word.
We ask that You would be at the center of their relationship, Lord. Let Your presence be felt in their home, and let Your love be evident in their marriage. We pray for Jesus to be the foundation and binding together in agreeance with Colossians 1:17. He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
Lord, we also pray for Lyrainoraire and her children. We ask that You would bless them, guide them, and protect them. Let them grow in the knowledge and grace of Your word, and let them walk in Your truth as a family. Let them be a light of the gospel demonstrated by love and obedience to a watching world.
If there is any sexual relationship, fornication, or other sin occurring between the couple in thought, word, or deed, please rebuke and convict the couple to repent to God and to each other. If there is a lack of spiritual agreement and cohesion, please bring the couple to unity of faith as described in Amos 3:3 which says "Can two walk together, except they have agreed?".
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lyrainoraire, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and your family. Remember that God's plan is always best, and He wants only good things for you. The Bible says “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.” (WEB, Jeremiah 29:11). Let the salvation message of Jesus Christ's life, death, and resurrection be the hope that your family rests firmly upon.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. (WEB, Proverbs 3:5). Let God's word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105), guiding you in all your decisions.
Additionally, consider the words of the Bible regarding marriage: "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it" (WEB, Ephesians 5:22-25).
This passage emphasizes the important roles that husbands and wives play in marriage. It is a sacred covenant, and both parties should strive to honor God in their roles. Let this be an encouragement to you and Travion as you seek God's will for your relationship.
Lastly, if there is sexual sin or any other sin that needs to be addressed, please repent of it and seek Gods forgiveness. The Bible says "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin." (WEB, 1 John 1:7). The Bible also says "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (WEB, 1 John 1:9).
Therefore, let us seek Gods will for this relationship and remember that the Bible says: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?” (WEB, 2 Corinthians 6:14).
Therefore, Lyrainoraire, it is right and good to seek God to be all up in this relationship.
