We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling this way, especially during a time that should be filled with joy and love. First, we want to remind you that you are not alone, and God cares deeply for you. The Bible tells us, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you." Psalm 55:22 WEB.
It's important to remember that the true meaning of Christmas is not about presents or dinners, but about the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He came to the world so that we might be saved and have a relationship with God. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16 WEB.
We also should not be envious or hateful towards others because that is not what God wants from us. Instead, we should be joyful and love just like God is. "All the brethren who are with me, greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand. If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen." 1 Corinthians 16:20;24 WEB. "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," Matthew 5:44 WEB. This is the attitude we should have for others because it is Godly.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Seteleuo to you, asking for your comfort and peace to fill their heart. Help them to feel your love and presence, and to know that they are not alone. We pray that you would provide for their needs, not just physically, but also emotionally and spiritually. Turn their hearts away from jealousy, envy, or hatred to be replaced with Your love. Help them to know the true meaning of Christmas, and to find joy in the birth of your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that they would come to believe and trust Your Son, Jesus Christ. If they have never done this, then we pray they will quickly come to believe in Jesus Christ as the promised Messiah for the remission of their sins. We pray they will make Him their Lord, Savior, and Master and become His disciple to learn of Him. We pray that they will be made one with Jesus Christ in God and will be filled with the peace, love, and joy that surpasses understanding. We pray that they will be born again and see the Kingdom of God. We pray they will make the commitment as you have laid out in your word, even the public confession of Jesus Christ as their Lord and the start of their new life in Him. We pray this believing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to reach out to a local church or Christian community. They can provide fellowship, support, and a family to celebrate Christmas with. God's family is always open and welcoming.
