Let us come together in prayer for Kaitlyn, asking our heavenly Father to grant her calm nerves, strength, and unwavering focus as she prepares for her important exam tomorrow. We believe in the power of prayer and the promise that Jesus stood on in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Firstly, we commend Tedroch that this prayer is being asked with such helpful intention for another person. We do note that it does not reference the name of Jesus Christ. It is the name of Jesus that makes any prayer heard by God. If we ask for anything in His name, He will do it, providing it meets with God's will. This is because as discussed in Acts 4:12 WEB, "...there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In approaching exams, we should seek wisdom, knowledge, and clarity of thought. In James 1:5 WEB counsels, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Kaitlyn needs this wisdom. We pray that it is given to her.
Our gracious Father, we come before You, lifting up Kaitlyn in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Lord, You know the concerns and anxieties that can arise during exams. We pray that You grant Kaitlyn a peaceful heart and a clear mind. Help her to remember what she has studied and to apply it with wisdom.
In Proverbs 2:6 WEB, it says, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." We trust the knowledge and guidance that Kaitlyn will receive during this test.
Lord, we also pray for Kaitlyn's future. Guide her steps and direct her path according to Your will. Help her to trust in You and to seek Your face in all her endeavors.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
May this prayer bring strength and assurance. Please keep praying, believing in Jesus Christ. When the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. Having prayed this and as a token of being saved there should be a release 'acceptance' and gladness and peace within. Discuss the basic gospel with a person that may not know Jesus if necessary and the various Bible verses mentioned will help guide in that effort.
