We join you in your heartfelt prayer, Anonymous, as you seek spiritual cleansing and renewal. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is through His name that we have access to God and are saved.
Firstly, let us address the works of the flesh, which the Apostle Paul warns us against in Galatians 5:19-21 WEB:
Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
To avoid these works of the flesh, we must continually submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, as James 4:7 WEB tells us:
Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
As you seek to have the fruit of the Spirit planted in your heart and mind, we remember the words of Jesus in John 15:4 WEB, abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in me.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, asking that You cleanse Anonymous of all sin and remove anything from their heart and mind that should not be there. Grant them the strength to avoid the works of the flesh and to live a life filled with the fruit of the Spirit. Plant Your seeds of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control deep within their heart and mind. Help them to abide in You, Lord, that they may bear much fruit for Your kingdom. In Jesus Christ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage recommendations to continue reading scriptures that will strengthen you spiritually.
