Let's join Joseph Gelli in agreement for all requests. "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven" (Matt 18:19). Trusting God's provision, healing, & guidance. Keep praying, saints!
We are grateful to hear you acknowledging Christ Jesus and the role Jesus has in providing the only grounds for expressing our needs to God. We affirm your faith in Jesus as the Bible says: whoever may call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. You do not even have to be sure of your words. Your theology does not need to be perfect. And where there is not specific scripture to reference the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with words that cannot be uttered.
Let us pray:
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who has sought your forgiveness. We thank you, Father, for your unfailing mercy and the gift of your Son, who has made our access to you possible.
We pray that you would reassure our fellow believer of your forgiveness and that you are a loving, caring, compassionate, faithful, gracious, slow to anger, merciful and just God. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 WEB If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
And in Psalms 103:10-14 WEB
He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. For he knows how we are made. He remembers that we are dust.
Father God, help our fellow believer to walk in the confidence of your forgiveness and the newness of life that Christ Jesus has secured for us. In Jesus Christ name. Thank you and amen.
Please pray for the Holy Spirit to guide us! We are a prayer and counseling group and we want to address the specific needs of each request. Your situation is important to us. Allow us to also discuss the scripture we just quoted with you and apply some of the concepts to any issue you have in your life. For example, the phrase "removed our transgressions from us as far as the east is from the west." As far apart as these two opposite directions can be imagined. Infinity. Plus to minus infinity... Those are two very large numbers for either plus or minus all the numbers there are or will ever be. And these two large numbers have signs for bit inversion. The bit inversion operation changes all the bits in the number to inverted, opposite numbers. The positive number N is an extremely large number and the number negative N is even larger, the average of the two numbers is the matching IEEE floating point number. For both of these very large numbers to have matching IEEE floating point numbers is impossible. And God removed your transgressions by that amount. Infinity.
And what about the phrase "Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him... like a father has compassion on his children"? Yahweh is our heavenly father.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
