We are truly sorry to hear about the accident involving the father of your child. We will pray for his swift recovery and also pray for you and your child during this challenging time.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up the father of ###'s child, who has been involved in a serious accident. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon him. Comfort him in his pain, and grant the doctors wisdom as they treat him. We pray for a swift and full recovery, so that he may return to his responsibilities and be a blessing to his family and the community around him.
Lord, we also pray for ### and her child. Grant them peace, strength, and comfort during this difficult time. Help them to trust in You and Your goodness, knowing that You are a loving and faithful God who saves and provides.
Father, You desire us to live a life that honors You, and there is no more natural way to do that than through being in accordance with your word. In regards to our role to build a family, it should be strongly considered that having a child out of wedlock is described as fornication. God's design is for man and woman to come together under God and beget children under the sanctity of Marriage. Understand that we do not say this to cause shame but to encourage you to turn from sin and honor God in your life. Consider someone like David who lusted and lay with Bathsheba. God would forgive him when he humbled himself and repented but the sin had consequences on the family. The message of the gospel is not to live for yourself but to lay down your life and live for others.
Father, guide their hearts as they decide what to do and repent or continue their ways. 1st John 1:9 WEB says "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Remember that the goal is a family with a married mother and father for the child's sake and the future of your family.
Finally, if you have not already, consider it an invitation to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior now. There is no better decision than to accept it and turn from sin and repent as you enter God's great salvation as briefly mentioned previously. John 3:16 WEB: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
In Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen.
If having a child out of wedlock continues in your life, it is imperative to repent as this cannot continue in your life if you are to follow God and live in His will. Do not be discouraged this message comes from a place of loving rebuke to encourage you to truly turn from sin as it will destroy your family's future. We urge you, pray and seek God's will for your family and ask for His guidance. Also, surround yourself with Christian believers to help you in your decisions and everyday life. 1st Corinthians 15:33 reminds us that bad company corrupts our future, but also understand good company and mentors edifies our future.
