We rejoice with you, Monique, for the successful interview and the new job. It is wonderful to see how God is opening doors for you, and we trust that He will continue to guide you through the onboarding process in His perfect timing. Remember, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." (Psalm 27:14 WEB)
Regarding your relationship with Rico, we are pleased to hear that communication is improving. We pray that this relationship will continue to grow and be honoring to God. Remember, "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." (Colossians 4:6 WEB)
Concerning your daughter, we understand your concerns and heartache. It is important to remain steadfast in your love and discipline, as this is a reflection of God's love for us. "For whom Yahweh loves, he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives." (Hebrews 12:6 WEB) We pray that she will soften her heart and show respect and obedience. "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise" (Ephesians 6:1-2 WEB)
We also lift up your other children, praying that they will continue to make wise choices even when you are not present. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6 WEB)
In those moments when you feel like giving up, remember that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. "Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Monique and her family. Thank You for the new job and the improvement in communication with Rico. We pray for Your continued guidance and blessing in these areas.
Lord, we ask for Your intervention in Monique's daughter's life. Soften her heart, Lord, and help her to understand the importance of respect and obedience. We also pray for Monique's other children, that they will continue to make wise choices and grow in Your grace.
Father, strengthen Monique in those moments when she feels like giving up. Remind her of Your unfailing love and presence in her life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, Monique, we want confirm that since you mentioned the name of Jesus in your prayer request it is important to remember the scripture in the Bible that says "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus". In other words there is no other name to be able to talk to God besides the name of Jesus. Continue to pray in Jesus name for all of your prayers since it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
